Was just reading on twitter a guy said you change fire mode by holding left trigger and pressing right on the Dpad. Explains why I once had a full auto M4.

Yeah, It is in the game, but it's not working properly, you have to aim using LT and then spam right on the D-pad. Sometimes it works, sometimes it doesn't. I'm currently stuck in single fire with an M4, accurate, but not good in a quick fire situation.

You can do it if you spam fast enough, ive never been stuck in a firing mode, however its definitely not useful on the fly.
