Unplayable mess.

Firstly forgive the brash title of this thread. I'm not bashing the game. Quite the opposite. I love the game. I WAS totally addicted. I passed up on Destiny forsaken to play this. For the first few days, minus a few disconnects here and there the game ran fine. Now, whether it's because of the update and re-update or because I'm far up north with lots of weapons and gear, the game is unplayable. It freezes constantly, every second or third time I open my inventory it freezes and I have to quit to desktop and start again. As you can imagine after a few times I get character locked and that's it for me. 

I would like to know how common or rare this is. Are people managing to play, and not freeze up? I don't mean on the coast with hardly any loot, I mean up north, PvP and exploring, gearing up. Are we that are getting this game breaking freeze the minority or majority?

It's sucking all the fun out of the game for me. So much so that I just bought destiny 2 forsaken and I'm going to play that for a bit. I know Dayz is a game preview and I'm all for testing and trying to get it right but there's testing an unfinished game then there's being frustrated time and time again to the point where you actually can't play because you're locked out. 

What are yall's experience with this? 

Do we have an ETA on any kind of update if only to fix the freezing?

Happens to me a few times per day.

That sucks, sorry to say but doesn’t seem too common. My experience the only time I had freeze issues was looking at a dead players inventory and that was only for about 5 -10 seconds, and my character lock lasted an hour or so. I’m fully geared (7 guns, mags, cases and med pouch full of food) up near Tisy, no issues at all. Are you on the 1X, 1S or OG Xbox? Not sure if that matters with this game or not but a possibility I suppose?

I'm on the One X. I'm gutted now. I honestly thought it was happening to most. This is quite upsetting I need a minute. Lol

I actually have had no issues with freezing to that extent and im on the Xbox One S. Im up north myself as well.

I haven't played all weekend. Tried uninstalling and reinstalling, logged on to see if it had helped. No exaggeration, I froze in the first 3 minutes while loading a mag. I'll try again when they drop an update cos for now it won't let me play.

I noticed it too.

when I open my inventory, there is a lag / delay, the game freezes for a second or two. Which is terrible, it could cost you everything if you don't predict this. My character is alive for a long time and inventory is almost maxed out.

A friend of mine just joined DayZ yesterday and was experiencing the same problems with the kinder school backpack and a can of spaghetti.

I did not have this problem prior to the reverted-update (playing this since day of release) on the other hand, can't prove that, so it's only a speculation.

We both use X Box One.
