Is the Mosin broken

So i'm playing dayz with a couple of mates on the xbox one and i've found a mosin and i've got the ammo for it aswell i sat in game for about three hours tryna found out how to load it i couldnt even chamber it. Is it just because the mosin is broken in the current patch on xbox or is it just me being a pleb

Equip mosin in hand, open inventory, highlight the bullets, press b

yeah ive tryed that and it still doesnt work i think my just my mosin is bugged then

Make sure you are using the right ammo. There’s two types of 7.62 ammo. 

- 7.62x39mm

- 7.62x54mm (which the Mosin uses)

Mosin can only load 1 bullet at a time, it is a bug. It should be able to hold 5, but if you load it 5 times, you end up losing the 4 bullets
