Get Trippy 0 Posted June 30, 2017 Why is my ghillie suit discolored?? My brightness and gamma aren't really high at all, when i'm in my inventory the color looks right but when i'm not its bright green. (The suit is woodland painted) Inventory pic -- Here Normal Pic -- Here
Just Caused 423 Posted June 30, 2017 Buddy, you are standing in evergreen forest. You need to have dark green ghillie to blend in.

sneakydude 480 Posted June 30, 2017 Did you happen to post in the bug reports, suggestions? I agree colors need to be adjusted. This might be a beta fix though since it is minor compared to all the other bugs.
WaffelsBR 12 Posted June 30, 2017 I've seen that before. It's a bug, yes, but I'm pretty sure it's client sided, which means you're the only one seeing it bugged. It's either that, or it's an issue dating back to 0.60, where painted objects would remain the same color, or as a slightly different color than it's supposed to be. Give it some time, relog, try stashing your ghillied somewhere, relogging, and taking it again. There steps MIGHT fix it.

Clearly not how it works dude i've been playing dayz for years and i'm pretty sure everyone here knows that the woodland ghillie is the best for all over the map. Mossy ghillie is to dark for the grass, if somebody uses that suit then they should stay south by the swampy areas. Pretty sure its a glitch with the game because my suit was fine before they did the small memory patch of 0.
Get Trippy 0 Posted July 1, 2017 (edited) Also i killed a player at NWAF with my SVD and was about to shoot the other one but I was having a hard time since this new patch to 0.62 seemed to change the inside of the PSO-1 and PSO 1-1 sight are not as dark as they use to be and are sometimes really hard to see. Atleast in 0.61, I'm pretty sure about that. Depends on what playstyle do you have, and how much do you travel around the world, and with that in mind, that's how you choose YOUR colour. Plus, how do you expect to camouflague in dry, arid areas with woodland with woodland suit? These areas are mostly in the north, around NWAF, mostly. You'd stay out of those areas dry arid areas like anyone with common sense would if they we're in a mossy or woodland suit and there isn't really many "dry areas" around NWAF unless your in the hay fields. P.S. that is where I do all of my PvP with my woodland ghillie and I've been 100% undetected.
