Is the graphic engine still being worked on?

Recommended Posts

So, was on a discussion on reddit about the state of the graphic engine  of the game, and my opinion was that Enfusion is a new engine and that there's still a lot of work left with this side of Dayz (fix old textures, add shaders, filters, differential focusing, lights, etc).

To what he replied that I did know nothing of graphic engines, and that the current state of the game is here to stay, and that basically Enfusion was outdated the moment it came out.

Would like to know if you guys plan to continue the work and tweaking of the graphic side of the game or should I just shut up and stop defending this point?

It has been stated the current state is just a starting point for further improvements.

Based off what they have previously stated, yes...  It is only in it's first iteration.    We won't see any newly released iterations of the renderer on .61 as it is an obsolete build with old coding.
