Does the Heart Attack mechanic still exist?

I'm just curious, I remember that the defib was supposed to be the only way to "cure" a heart attack when someone goes unconscious with an irregular pulse. Does this mechanic still exist or is the defib just another way to kill people (have no medicinal value).

I identify as a DayZ medic so I'm very familiar with the medical mechanics of the game.

Defib i have or had one of those, and haven't used it in a very long time. I believe it was to bring back unconscious player. Never someone from death.

I am not totally sure if the mechanics have been completely repaired, yet. I would have loved to try it this past Saturday night when we had a large organized event.

I had one of those for the guys on the boat. Was so much fun, if you where there helping bring back players :)

The defibrillator will kill a player with normal heart status if used on them, conscious or not.  It will revive a player knocked out by a STUN BATON, as well as restore a regular heartbeat.  Stun batons cause an irregular heartbeat if you use it to knock someone out; check the player's pulse after stunning them.

I have not tested what this does to a weak pulse.

It will remove the irregular heartbeat status caused by hitting a player with a stun baton.

No. If you do that you will kill the player.
