ShallowTech 196 Posted December 21, 2016 (edited) Just wanted to say again how much I like this build! Last night my cousin and I played for a couple hours and we had our best time playing so far. We started as freshies on the coast, made our way in land NW and had a great time. On our way to the north we looted towns and got some pretty good gear. Towards the end of the night we were moving into a military area, my cousin was talking about wolves, which he has not had a run-in with yet. About 5 minutes after he mentioned wolves we heard howling running though the forest at dusk... it was awesome. He started moving quickly to our location, killing zombies and watching for wolves. It was intense. For some reason our server dropped us while in the military base. We spawned back in, continued to search tents and the next thing you know I hear growling! We ran to a guard tower and climbed as fast as we could as the wolves were on our tail. When we got up the tower there were a pack of wolves and zeds everywhere, it was awesome! My cousin and I used what ammo we had on us to kill wolves, the third one killed seemed to be the alpha and the other ran off. Then we spent what ammo we had left on the Zombie, it was awesome and we both survived! Furthermore, the survival aspect has greatly improved. It adds so much more immersion when you have to worry about dying from dehydration, hunger, hypothermia, sickness, infection, etc. and now wolves! gambla 118 Posted December 21, 2016 I came back after a year and didn't expect too much, but it's just awesome now. Playing just a few days and really enjoying it. The most important issue for me was that loot needed to be reduced significantly and that was done. Less is more. Keep up the good work!
Red_Ensign 990 Posted December 22, 2016 I think I'm gonna like it too. you can't just go afk in the woods anymore or quickly outrun a zombie and grab the phone before he catches up, so I think people with kids and wives and other interruptions are gonna die a lot and maybe get divorced. Hyperion1817 1 Posted December 22, 2016 Its really nice to finally have some challenges other places than primarily in cities. My first time experiencing the wolves was terrifying and I almost lost my gear trying to initially outrun them haha.
