Who's playing guitar in Cherno???

I was thinking of having a concert in Cherno. I'm a musician/guitarist and would like to lend my talents to entertain the survivors of Chernarus. My plan is to find a nice spot in Cherno, and play over direct comm for whoever wants to hear, or happens to be walking by.

I have yet to decide if I should use my Field recorder to play acoustic guitar, or use the line in and play electric. Feel free to leave any solo-guitar tune requests you'd like to hear played next time you're in Cherno.

If you want I will personally guard your ass for a day or two. (Unfortunately, that won't be for two weeks, going on vacation, but if you're still up to this when I get back...) I would kill just to have some nice acoustic guitar playing in the background while I enjoy my DayZ-downtime.

Maybe it's my love for STALKER just coming out, but there's just something beautiful about sitting around a campfire with those copper strings playing sweet melodies.

Seriously, though. It'll be a bit of a rough job. The only really safe place I can think we'll be able to survive is in the church at Cherno. So, there's that. But hopefully we can get something worked out well enough.

Vote on the church as well, regular Direct Comm text messages from the edges warning players of imminent death if opening the doors before complying - this could be doable. Still leave the rare weapons and supplies in camp, just in case one of the "guards" dislikes the song or, who knows, thinks one of us looks funny.

Haha thanks to all the guys who want to try guard duty. I'm sure we could work something out, although I need to practice some tunes to play. I'll PM you guys when I'm ready. I'm might just pick a random server and test it out, make sure the mic and everything is working.

My first thought was to relearn the stalker guitar tunes. I also know some classical guitar pieces. Those seem like a good place to start. I'm also still taking requests. It can be any style, I can play jazz, blues, rock, classical, whatever you might want on acoustic
