I had Lag issues a little while ago i found having ZoneAlarm installed on your PC can Mess with Arma Big time... Since i uninstalled ZoneAlarm I have not come across lag problems in less the server it self is laggy.

Figured out the problem....It was to do with my firewall (ZoneAlarm) Had to uninstall it seems like zonealarm is not great for the gamer.

Last night i finely re installed Dayz after a long break, When i get into the game it starts to freeze every two to five seconds i have tried many settings with the graphics , restarted my pc , have re installed Arma , and so on. I can play Arma just fine on single player with high graphic settings with out any lag issues or stuttering. I thought it could be the Dayz new update but i have not come across any one with the same problem in the latest forums post. It's kinder annoying now because I not long ago got a new graphics card and would like to enjoy Dayz on high settings and not the crappy settings i had before on my old graphics card. PC Specs: AMD FX 4100 - 3.60 Ghz CPU 12 GB of Ram - Yes they are all matching ram cards before you ask :P Windows 7 - 64bit Radeon HD 1GB XFX Ghost 6850 If any one is having similar problems and solved that could help me i would be very great-full. Iv'e just switched it to NUM then deleted what ever was assigned to NUM1 NUM2 and so on to nothing and now got my self sorted to set up :) Now i just gotta swap over when ever i play dayz .Cheers for the help guys =]

When it's on NUM it says you can't change because i'ts assign to something else but when I have it set to numbers it don't even recognize that i'm pressing anything. Think i mite just need to go through all the settings and re set the numbers to nothing so i can assign them.

Just installed Dayz from having a break in that time i have bought a new razer naga mouse for guild wars 2..I have a problem when i try to assign buttons to the mouse it wont let me, I have a button on the bottom that changes it to NUM instead of numbers but even when i switch it to NUM i still can't seem to assign any buttons. If any one has had the same problem and found away round it i would be great-full for the help. Cheers :)

I think the concept of Dayz is great but after many times dying to people who just shot you for no reason it just seems this game is more about killing one another. I bought this game because i thought i mite meet some cool people who want to take on a big map and survive against Zombies ohh how wrong i was. Please don't turn around and go it's realistic that's what i would do because you know you wouldn't your to scared to move away from your PC screen i doubt you would just go on some killing spree if there was a zombie apocalypse right now . I hope when Dayz goes standalone it's more balanced because at the moment it just feels like i'm playing team death match against some COD campers. Anyway just sharing how i feel about the game right now not fussed if you don't agree just my opinion.

You may as well take zombies out of this game now as most people's aim on this game is to kill one another you may as well call it team death match with a zombie twist.....

I laugh at people who think this game is realistic its far from realistic. 99% of people in a real life disaster would come together and work as a team.. Most of the people who just go round killing are just pumped up little nerds who have nothing better to do with there life than sit on a alpha game and think there higher than everyone. The more i play dayz the more i think its shit and i don't even care what people think its just my opinion.. This is ment to be a zombie apocalypse game not team death match.. This game would be great if there was more great people like your self who want to give the game a chance and help others.

I think you can make a new profile with a different look but you will lose your stats but not your loot.

I love Dayz but from the looks of War Z it will be more balanced all round game... It would be great to explore big maps with out some bandit shooting me in the back, lets face it in a real Zombie apocalypse people wouldn't be shooting one another for there beans and bandages they would be forming big groups and sticking together and War Z gives you that chance to do exactly what iv'e wanted to do in Dayz from the start... This is not moan about getting killed in dayz but every time i play dayz i will play for a good 5 hours manage to find all the stuff i need to survive then bang out of no where i'm sniped from a bandit or killed from behind for no reason. Anyway i hope War Z will be good and if it's not i will just come back to Dayz for my zombie gaming fix ;)

Times are hard for every one if he really wants the game he will go out wash cars cut gardens do what ever he can to buy the game .....To be honest i find it rude that people ask for money over the internet when clearly they have money to pay for broadband !
