Made my way to Zeleno Military Compound, armed with my mighty fists. See two guys from outside the walls, they're talking from the prison as it seems. can barely hear them but I catch something like "Grab....phone... back ... bout 5 minutes" I go prone. One leaves the front door to loot the baracks. As soon as he enters, I Usain Bolt inside the prison. see AFK guy standing under the stairway, immediately start punching the shit out of him. 4 hits to the face and hes knocked out. Get his M4, Vest and Helmet, give AFK guy a headshot and he dies. Suddenly hear footsteps behind me. Its his friend coming back. I turn around and we shoot each other in the face. I drop dead. Pretty sure he died as well.

Some well thought ideas here. I have to say this is one of the best and advanced suggestions I have read to really seperate DayZ from mindless shooter games. My thoughts regarding perks not being for campers: Lets say f.e. stamina only increases if you sprint for a certain amount each day (3km for example). So it wouldnt increase while youre logged out or afk/camping but it would if you were actively improving it. Either by reaching certain amounts or having a level of progress but... I guess level and skills have been discussed before and many players don't like it for various aspects. "Soft" perks would be fine though, at least for me. Well anyway, I have faith in rocket and his team. Dean said hes gonna make a hardcore zombie survival game for the ultimate DayZ experience that many people would probably not like. Imo this was a clear message to all deathmatch players and I'm pretty confident he still aims to deliver on something that is not just a Free For All PVP game with full loot.

@Gogster so it should've been in createvehicle.txt because the ammo boxes are usually spawned in via "CreateVehicle" ? would make sense. does this mean I could add any non-legit weapons in my createvehicle.txt, which would kick a player if one of the weapons i added do match a weapon in his ammobox script? @linkinxp I highly doubt my server provider is allowing me to install that. thanks for the hint anyway.

Hi guys, I'm a server admin and was recently testing if I could add non-legit weapons, f.e. the AS50 TWS to my scripts.txt I think I understood how the scripts.txt works, but I was having issues while testing. So I basically just added 5 "BAF_AS50_TWS" Intention was to prevent players from spawning it but it didn't work as expected. I exchanged the scripts.txt with the new one and thats where my issues began. After that, everyone who entered the server was kicked while loading (Script Restriction #110), even after Server Restart and re-loading scripts.txt Had to reinstall the server to get back the old scripts.txt, after that the #110 issue was gone. I somehow think this might be because the AS50 TWS is somehow "detected" in the client data but I'm not sure at all. If anyone would like to help me out, I'd be thankful. If I tried total nonsense here and you can explain to me why it is nonsense, I'll also give you my beans.

It's just pointless to play on hive servers. Everyone playing this Mod for more than 3 weeks is (or should be) having access to nearly every weapon in this game. They all hang around in Cherno and Elektro, PKing all day long. When they die they leave the server to get their gear back from their tents, then return to the coast. THIS IS SO BORING. Then there still are many scripters around.. teleporting and scriptkilling is still going on.. it's ridicolous, I can't count how many scripters appeared (teleported) right next to me in the last week. Didn't even try to shoot em, this mostly made them think I'm (hacker-)friendly. Each time ending up in them spawning medi boxes full of weapons for me. But... Bleh, I wouldn't even take an Enfield Mag out of their boxes.. it ruins the game for me. Most of my DayZ are currently spent playing on a Private Hive. Not even ONE single hacker in a week, admins clear out tents after 3 days to prevent duping, PvP DCers get permbans.... many good gunfights and banditry, but also loads of people being friendly and randomly grouping up.. on private hives like this, it's just like the old DayZ :)

Playing DayZ the bandit way is for noobs. Catching an AS50 from a tent and killing the shit out of people doesn't require much to do it. Playing DayZ the hero way is pro. Only kill bandits, help survivors and other heroes whenever you're able to. This requires more than clicking a mouse button: it needs social skills.

You did the right thing. Offering a helping hand shows that you and your guys aren't the average brainless bandits. Having your squad flanking them before getting in contact is understandable. Too bad these homos did such a bitch move. At least you gave them what they deserved. If I was one of them, I'd been grateful for your help and would've offered you some of my goods (food/medicine) to thank you. Keep on moving like you did, cuz one day we might meet up and I will salute next to your car if you offer me help.

G36C SD and AS50 TWS and spawned AI units as well. That guy teleported all players to cherno and suddenly everyone was killed. He's using some kind of ESP and was able to destroy all tents and vehicles over the map. He was even able to spawn vehicles. Rocket, please ban him and his [b|F] Clan friends because all of them are using the hacks on servers. ______ quite obvious you're german and used google translator. please read the forums, DayZ Devs do not ban players, BattlEye does. // Was für eine grauenhafte google Übersetzung. Wanna know the difference? Tank traps don't have a thermal sight. They do not oneshot people in the middle of the night, neither used by kids on Elektro sniper hill. They might break your legs if you're stupid enough, but thats it.

Hey there. I'm right now next to a tent on a server and yeah... it's not mine. It contains 3 AS50 TWS which means it's just what I've found in tent through the last weeks: A LOT of AS50 TWS, some G36C SD, Golden Revolver and even a golden AK. Tons of shit that doesn't belong into the game. Problem is: People kill a hacker or find a hacker stash, take that shit back to their home server and dupe that hackcrap in their own tents afterwards. This is so funny. All the people complaining about hackers but trying to benefit from hacks as much as they can. Anyway, I came to the point where I started fucking up these hack weapon duping assholes (I suppose most of them don't run hacks themselves). I duped so much Sandbags, Wire Fencing Kits and Tank Traps in my own tents that I have a nearly unlimited supply of these things. Now most of the time I'm on my way through the woods with my Coyote and inventory fully stocked of items that lock down your damn hack weapon tents. Today a clan of 6-8 members was looking out for me because I completely locked down their as50 tws tents with so much barbed wire, sandbags and tank traps... they were desperately trying to remove it... but failed and gave up... Hahaha that was great fun people. Well guys.. if you stored some hacked weapons, don't be pissed if you get what you deserve. If I find that shit in your tents then be sure you won't be able to take it out again. cheers!
