GordonFreemanTR (DayZ) 18 Posted January 13, 2016 Anyone found netting on the coast? Its been two days me and my mate checked the the whole coast from Kamenka to Svetlo 3-4 times up and down on our own server, restarted server several times, still no luck.. any idea ? Etherious 907 Posted January 13, 2016 Yea, I have found tons of netting over the course of weeks of constant searching. Also, restarting the server will not do anything loot wise. There are no longer any non-persistence servers so loot only changes upon CLE rules.

Reg Park 160 Posted January 13, 2016 my understand is the boats that actually are able to spawn netting are dynamic like police cars but i haven't seen that first hand to confirm.
Bororm 1156 Posted January 13, 2016 (edited) I think tying netting to dynamic spawns was stupid. I also think you should be able to just craft netting from a lot of rope. This isn't an item that should warrant such rarity as ghillie suits are pretty shit and hardly anyone used them even when netting was abundant. Killawife 599 Posted January 13, 2016 (edited) I agree. both netting and burlap are items that should be craftable. Burlap is just rough cloth, you should be able to use any type of cloth to replace it. Netting is slightly more complex but a couple of rolls of string should do the trick and since theres no string, rope. I've looked at fifty boats and found zero netting. They seem to spawn considerably less loot now as well. Edited January 13, 2016 by Killawife
Kirov (DayZ) 585 Posted January 13, 2016 I can only say that netting spawns for sure, the other day I found 3 pieces in a boat. But I'm not a boat hunter so I have no idea about the odds.
