hitt0r 78 Posted December 31, 2015 Hello, I've been playing DayZ Alpha on and off for ~2 years now - in that time there have been several server/client optimisations aimed at improving FPS. Have there been any announcements or anything to suggest that 60fps in citys/towns will be achievable in the final product?
Etherious 907 Posted December 31, 2015 They have had server side improvements, but client side improvements won't come til Beta. They have also stated this multiple times that when Beta hits, they're will be optimizations.

sneakydudes 278 Posted December 31, 2015 Yes there is way to many things they are repairing in cities right now. I expect once beta comes it will improve. I agree the loading is quite difficult even on the best systems.
The-MCV- 149 Posted December 31, 2015 60 fps in Novod and not on Normal or below would be amazing. Hell, even 50.
bullseye777 2 Posted December 31, 2015 The new UI has improved the FPS a lot, but in big cities it still drops for me personally to about 23. This is Alpha so we will see improvements for sure in the fps when the game is complete.
Ben_uk 24 Posted December 31, 2015 I get lows of 16 in cities. Really bad...
