What happens to tents in a "persistence reset"

New to the game. I have been playing on the Crew private server. The server restarts every 4 hours and there is also a persistence reset. I'd like to make a camp but wondering how long my items will stay in my camp and what happens during this reset. Sorry if this is a simple answer but I can't seem to find it anywhere.

they take your tent, your wife's tent, your kids' tents, and then they come for your mom's tent.  especially your mom's tent.  and your grandma's tent.
