While looting for supplies in Zelenogorsk, the goal was to meet with another ally on TS. Turns out we meet another survivor, an armed one as-well. As tensions rise... and the zombies prowl. We band together to hold the line against the forgotten.

I ran into 2 players in elektro on exp, neither tried to kill me. Both were pleasant encounters. It does happen... Rarely.

I got clubbed in Zelenogorsk today too. I haven't seen that many infected anywhere else yet. 

 

About the AK's: I've seen a video yesterday and the guy's rifles jammed all the time. He tried several different AK's and nothing worked for him. I now wonder, if maybe his magazine was damaged, because it seems you have no problem with misfires or jamming. Did you have any trouble shooting the gun?

 

Cool to see people talk that casually and run together. A lot of kids just play for griefing or teabagging and being dicks in general. Respect to Mr. Knight! Generally, if it's just one player, chances are he's friendly. I never managed to talk to 2-3 people without getting shot. NEVER :)

The reason the AK didn't fire, was because he loaded ruined bullets into the mag. The mag can still be pristine, but the the weapon won't fire because of the ruined bullets.

 

To check the bullets, open your inventory, with the gun in your hands, right-click the gun and select empty. This will eject a bullet from the gun, if you see a ruined bullet. Then take the mag out, empty all the bullets and load pristine bullets in and it should work. 

 

As for these encounters, they are very rare.

Heheh that was your video? So why do you say the bullets are pristine, if they are ruined? Did you not think about that then, but figured it out in the meantime?

Well that was strange. they did work and also didn't. 

 

You saw the vid as-well, tested at Vybor base, it worked, tested it before NWAF it worked, tested in the combat didn't.

It's interesting. I would say people are now less friendly. I nearly always try to make contact unless I am with certain friends who are paranoid and usually shoot if a player has their gun out. I will often watch people first then speak. Some panic and shoot and some are cool. I've met people at NW airfield, the tents and other military bases.  I once met three in one day. I think that once people knew you had the drop on them and didn't fire (like this guy), they are usually ok.

 

In my early days I gave away guns almost daily (on video) - M4s and others, often loaded and was never shot by one. It was funny to watch people's reaction.
