Rags! 1966 Posted October 29, 2015 Turovo, at one point, sported at the northern end a Jailhouse building.Now all that remains are ruins. Bring it back, please. The Jailhouse worked as an effective player magnet. I saw people there fairly often when it was up, but now that it's gone I haven't seen a single person in that small town, since. Good loots spots work to encourage player movement, which is something this game needs immensely. Turovo is a ghost town now that only residential buildings remain, and as a result, nobody goes up the road to the nearby Karmanovka either. Now, nobody bothers to go there, instead bypassing it entirely to get to Novodmitrovsk or not even travelling West from Svetlojarsk at all, opting instead to head South. This is a classic example of how the promise of loot can influence player movement, and using these places as "stepping stones" for players to travel around the map could be key to a finished product. 2 Share this post Link to post Share on other sites
Zboub le météor 250 Posted October 29, 2015 shuuuuuuuuttttttt, turovo/kamanovka is my loot routine when in spawn in svetlo. i always leave those towns with a backpack, plenty of food, 2 weapons and ammo for it. i'm all for prison on the west, kamensk mil base is not that far from novo ;). and remember that there is an humvee next to the former prison, it should attract a least some players. atempleton 123 Posted October 30, 2015 I do not believe it is necessary seeing as there is a Humvee there. Once loot spawns on miltary vehicles are restored, Turovo should harbour moderate player traffic. I always go through there if I'm in Svetlo and pass through it and the nearby towns north of Domo and walk out with heaps of starting supplies as it doesn't see heavy traffic though, and I'd hate to see it become heavily populated. BCBasher 2465 Posted October 30, 2015 That building was changed to destroyed and had it's loot spawns removed before the static vehicles and the "camo" prison building stopped spawning loot. Before most people would just kill themselves when they spawn up north, now nearly everyone seems to. star-lord252 83 Posted November 2, 2015 This should be brought back I stop regularly in turovo even after the jail house was destroyed but I don't follow up if I'm desperate for some ammo or extra gear then I'll head to berizihki and that's it. The prison was nice I don't see the point of removing it but I'm hoping .59 will restore the loot in the camo buildings I don't understand why they even took the loot out of it anyways. I had my first firefight there to it was pretty odd I spawned in after playing some Terraria and walked up stared only to be blasted by an SKS who missed every shot but one but I unloaded a magnum into him and he just went to the back corner and I pulled out my mosin and shot him ruined all his gear sucked but made it out then I went to old kranostav airfield only to find another guy who just leaves the server in front of me good times.
