thefriendlydutchman 160 Posted October 26, 2015 (edited) So after watching the amazing new cracked serie : The Stumbling Dead which is hilarious I would suggest that zombies have a certain hunger meter, and the more hungry they get the more effort they will have to chase youmaybe some way to see how hungry zombies are? Like a certain type of stance? and maybe if they are really hungry they might occasionly attack one of their own and eat them (would be pretty scary to see a zombie eating another zombie while smack sounds (or whatever it is called in english, the sound of eating food) and zombie moans echo through the nearby streets Edit: and here is a link to the stumbling dead if anyone is interested Have an amazing day Edited October 26, 2015 by jorn818
Rags! 1966 Posted October 27, 2015 Before we start talking about NEW zombies, let's talk about ANY zombies.
zombieland78 42 Posted November 6, 2015 don't forget, the vast majority of the DayZ community hate anything resembling traditional zombies, they will go as far as to say the Z in dayZ stands for 'zero' instead of zombies. So these are infected who just hit stuff and don't eat folk. this game has almost nothing to do with zombies really. But that's where a good mod will come in.

I don't think anyone really knows what the "Z" in "DayZ" stands for. I don't think Rocket ever confirmed it either way. I can tell you that DayZ was a working title that he had no intention of sticking with (...and didn't actually like) until the mod blew up unexpectedly and he was kind of stuck with it though. Still even able to climb things if need be and smell you from quite a distance away to hunt you. They should be able to hunt in packs to if they share more animal like instincts. But at the moment im still getting the old school Night Of The Living Dead feeling from these guys. Even if there not rotting per say. OnionOfShame 138 Posted November 12, 2015 climbing would be amazing although it should be quite slow and clumpsyalso trying to shoulder charge through doors would be cool would probably take a few minutes for zombies to bash through itI agree, it's important that the infected have some way to reach players through closed doors. Perhaps they could simply push open (instant open) doors that are cracked open (currently only occurs if the door has been hit/shot, but could occur dynamically), but an actual closed door should take 2-3 minutes for them to break open. A locked door should take much longer, 10-15 minutes maybe. Multiple infected can group up and open a door faster, and perhaps we could block the door with objects or our own bodies to make it take longer. After a (random?) amount of time zombies should give up and go away if you make absolutely no sound and they cannot see you in a window.

Its just not as visible as you saw yet.
