Suggestion...

We cant self blood bag, or use saline on ourselves. 

Yet for some reason someone felt it wise to put the option on the defib to (Use) which uses it on yourself and kills you......

LOL, that is a dichotomy... no reason you can't self administer any of those. Though I like the way it is; it builds dependency on teamwork.

I think one should be able to use these items on one's self. Perhaps with a penalty of some sort but it should be possible.

To be honest, for this reason alone I think it should be left in. Imagine; you're in a fierce shoot-out and you see the enemy trying to revive their friend and all of a sudden they drop dead beside them. Comedy gold.
