Rewarding people that report bugs

Recommended Posts

I think there should be some kind of rewarding system for the people that take the time out of their day to report bugs,

maybe have some of their names in the dev blogs just like they promote youtubers.

Helping make the game better is its own reward :)

That's the case, e.g. https://forums.dayzgame.com/index.php?/topic/228933-status-report-15-sept-15/

And I believe they said on the Eugen's cheaters presentation that if you report cheats and private hacks, you eventually will be paid for it.

Why shouldn't we report bugs and cheats, we all want a safe and polished game. This should be enough motivation.

Mind you actually going undercover (so to speak) and getting access to private hacks off of very closed off communities is very different from reporting hacks. Hence why these "snitches" actually get paid for it.
