Need help.. Morphine or how to fix arm is in pain

Recommended Posts

Got shot up at the NWAF and ended up when my "arm is in pain", will morphine still correct this?  Also, with the latest patch, I can't seem to find it in my normal spots.  Anyone know where they are spawning now?  And as far as my arm pain, does that eventually go away on it's own if I'm healing?

Thanks..

Morphine spawns in the "mini" hospitals, and in the normal ones in large city's (mostly.)

And yes, it should fix it. Using a splint works as well.

And finally, yes, it will go away while your healing , just takes awhile :)

Can also be found in the toilets of the guard houses that had all the loot last patch, varies medical spawns.

great thanks

Splint was mentioned, but do you know how to make one? It does the same as Morphine, but is much easier to make/find (combine stick + rag). If you run around for more than half an hour in a state of pain like that you will go unconscious and die if nobody is around to help you. So even though it may be tempting to ignore the message for a while, it should always be a priority to get yourself fixed up.

Since when? Has this always been a feature because I had never heard that before... admittedly I'll normally fix the issue at the earliest opportunity but still, very interesting to find that out.

You mean the half hour thing? I'm speaking from my own experience, because I just let it go one time and thought: hell, nothing is happening, why should I even bother treating my leg? I went unconscious later and died shortly after. I think this was as early as patch 0.56. I asked about how long it takes back then on this forum and was told: after 30 minutes. However, making a splint is no big deal and I do use Morphine, if I happen to have some with me. Since I only get those injuries from being shot, I usually bandage and apply a splint right after anyway.

Ah ok, think it changed in this patch because iirc Wobo says you can heal a fracture if you have the healthy status but it takes about an hour.
