Rail, bipod+flashlight and AKM magazines

1. Where does one find AKM magazines nowadays?

 

2. How does one attach Weapons Flashligh and ATLAS Bipod to the AKM? I have a Rail Handguard, but I can't attach them.

as for 1. akm  mags are fairly common and are found in the new enter-able barracks.

2. it is a bit bugged. If you have spray paint and don't need the parts that come with it spray paint will delete those parts and you can slap on whatever. The best remedy is something about putting the akm in your hands and then applying the part but i may very well be wrong on that.

I'm not sure I understand the attachment part, though. Should I spray paint the AKM? I was under the impression that it doesn't remove parts, it only makes them invisible until you log in the next time(?).

 

I've tried putting the ATLAS bipod on when the gun was on the ground, in my hands and on my back. None has worked so far. :/

Okay, so once you figure out how to put on Rail Handguards, the rest is simple. To put on a Rail Handguard, put the weapon on your back and double click the currently attached handguard. That handguard will now go into your hands. Drag the Rail Handguard onto the weapon. Boom.

 

The MP5-k can take the Weapon Flashlight with the Rail Handguard.

 

The AK74 cannot accept the ATLAS or the Weapon Flashlight even with the Rail Handguard.

 

The AK101 cannot accept the ATLAS or the Weapon Flashlight even with the Rail Handguard.

 

My group just got an AKM but have not tried the ATLAS or the Weapon Flashlight yet. Based on what I've seen, I wouldn't be surprised if it, too, cannot accept the rail dependant attachments. When I get back on in a little while, I will update this post after I fool with it a bit.

 

We have an M4 also, but have not found the Rail Handguard for it so I have not yet been able to test.

You misunderstood me.

 

I have a rail handguard ON the AKM.

 

I can NOT put on ATLAS bipod or weapon flashlight despite having a rail handguard ON the AKM. :/

No, he understands you pretty well. You just can't put a bipod or a flashlight on a rail-equipped AK at the moment (I've tried with both 101s and 74s).

 

You definitely can put a bipod on an M4 with an RIS though (will try the flashlight later but suspect it will work)

I included the part about how to properly put a handguard on, even though the OP had one on his AKM already, because of this guy's post:

I've looked through a lot of these new barracks, and I still haven't seen an AKM magazine. Loads and loads of binoculars, though.

Same here. Not one single mag. I've looted every military location many times over (not to mention the other three guys in my group who do their own thing too) and found upwards of 50 helis at this point since we started the server about 12 days ago.

you are right: you can attach a weapon flashlight to a m4 with a RIS handguard; i got mine fully equiped :)
