Just some general things that would make the game better

Recommended Posts

1. More small game, seriously if a human can't even catch a rabbit by running after it then a zombie (who rarely visit the woods) wouldn't either. 2. Rats in Towns, small rats can be sometimes rarely spawn in sheds and barns 3. In some of the long white stretched farms I want to see some cow carcasses, 4.Heatpack Bomb, pretty much Heatpack+ducktape+gas canister when the heatpack is activated the gas camister will explode in 15 seconds can be trown however quite heavy, can only be done with the small canister. 5. Dynamic hanged players, just like the cars and heli crashes I want to have some dynamic locations where hanged people might spawn, the same goes for ambulances. 6. Be able to remove lit campfires (it is really annoying) 7. Lessen the military loot economy a notch, theres more military loot than civilian atm 8. Unconscious players should be able to be dragged away by an other player 9. The sporter needs less rare 20 round magazines which would balance the sporter out with the sks and blaze. 10.watch which can be put on your wrist to see the servertime 11. Fix the annoying fireplace makes it darker when close bug, I know you try to make campfires realistic but it isnt really working well so remove it or tweak it please! 12. Weapon rack, can be made at the soon to be seen advanced crafting bench with scrap iron, can hold 2 rifles 13. The Polygon Slider, very Low = 50% less polygons, Low=70% of polygons we have now Normal= 100 of the polygons we have now 14. The Ability to burn tents, will destroy everything inside and the tent itself will create allot of smoke which will attract players 15. Rope+Jerrycan = jerrycan over the shoulder hanging around the hip 16. Double pistol holder at waist, (when one pistol is empty he will get the other one out really quick lets say in 0,4 seconds)

4. Nope, trust me. fuel canisters all have some over pressure release mechanism either a burst disk on larger propane tanks or engineered into the pressed one's end cap. If you heat them enough the seal at the end cap will just hiss out the excess pressure and without a source of ignition it's pretty anticlimactic. I happen to have 2 under my desk exactly like the ones in game that I plan on putting in a fire for video purposes once wild fire season is over here and will post my results in the gallery.

**edit** Filling the concave part at the bottom with slow gunpowder like that from shotgun shells and taping over it with a wick or electric igniter would probably get some spectacular results though may try that as well.

Found these pics of fun with old spray paint cans as pyrotechnics for a youtube video, short of getting hit by the end cap there's no effective shrapnel and very little concussion. All they'd be good for is a shock and awe distraction unless you held your targets face up to it, maybe some singed hair.

-snip-

1) Do the rabbits even have in-game models? I don't think they do. They just 'appear" when they get caught in a trap, which is fine by me. Shooting a rabbit with anything larger than a .22LR/ 12g birdshot shell is a waste of a bullet. Remember: in survival, you hunt large game and trap small game.

2) In cities, rats can get pretty large. I would also love to see pigeons and seagulls as well. Plentiful, stupid, and relatively easy to catch. Good eating, too, if you avoid the diseased ones (you find out if they are "healthy" or not during the skinning/dressing process) and BOIL THE SHIT OUT OF THEM.

3) By all estimates, it has been at least a couple of months since society shat the bed. There would be nothing left but bones

4) That isn't how gas canisters work

5) Agree, and I want to be able to hang players myself. Capture some bandits? Throw a rope over a tree-branch or a lightpost = no more bandits!

6) What does this statement mean?

7) Fuck, there needs to be far less ammunition in general. Plenty of guns, plenty of magazines, but much less ammunition. The game won't "grow into its own" until that happens.

8/9/10 ) yeah, agree

11) No, that is perfect. Go outside at night, build a fire, then stare at it for a second. Then, look away. You won't be able to see anything

12/13) meh, alright

14) cool

15/16) meh, no thanks

When I first started playing, I'd come across immortal rabbits who screamed like zombies way out in the western forested areas. Haven't seen one for a long time.

Yep, been there since arma 2 they mae gone now though....

Working security on the waterfront as a teenager in Halifax they gave us a co2 pellet gun for the rats. Killed one this one time that if you held it by the tail at your side (I'm 6" tall) its head was sideways on the ground. And yes i know the difference between a muskrat and a wharf rat... that day one of the things that separated them was not their size

+1 for shat

^ We have "Dike rats" in New Bedford (we have a Hurricane Dike around the city harbor, built of large rough stones by the Army Corps of Engineers in the '60s) that can easily reach over a foot in length, and that is just the body. I ..... wouldn't want to tangle with one of those monsters, at least not with a hand weapon. Give me a bow or a bullet any time.

Maybe you see one in the corner of a barn, you quickly but carefully raise your amphibia and pray that he doesn't move, you fire he drops and you get the rat meat (which can be diseased or healthy)

(maybe the ability to catch them with traps so you can distract zombies with it?)
