is there a way to retrieve items from the hidden part of tent inventory?

hi guys,

 

in the past you could retrieve items from the invisible part of the big tents inventory by freeing up space and wait for a server restart - all items would be sorted to the top. didnt try this for some time and realized yesterday that this workaround doesnt work anymore.

 

is there any way to get that stuff back in your hands? if not, its at least a good way to prevent the tent from robbery and start a funny loop of stash in -> get robbed ->repeat.

Yes there is a solution :) use the new UI to see the content of tents

 

Here what you need to do 

 

Step 1: Click Properties on DayZ in Steam

Step 2: Set Launch Options

Step 3: Type ' -newui ' in the launch options and hit Okay.

Which tent do you refer to as the "big tent"? I have not yet found a military tent, but had no problem accessing the full inventory in both, the cartent and the civilian.

how did you access the unseen slots in the car tent without newui? you can put stuff down there by dragging it to the upper grey band of the tent, but get it back?

If the slots above are empty, on a server restart they should automatically move up. Clean up the space above the item so when the server restarts it should move up.

That hasn't worked since they replaced the inventory matrix in 0.57.

No work no more sinds the 0.58 ! need to sed the new ui and nothing els work

When using the new UI, does your toon still stop walking when your inventory is open? It's the only reason I'm not using it.
