.58 and some strange things

Weeellll ...

 

I managed to find out pretty fast that rags require a knife now. So much for perceptiveness. Yay.

 

But, after playing for 4h calm hours now in which I hiked inland from Svetlo to the abandoned Stary Yar military base, NW Airfield, and from there via Bashnia and Veresnik to Vybor on what seems to be a not very much looted Server, I remarked the following:

 

- Not ONE single Zombie in 4 hours while crossing half the map??? Where the heck are they? Union Meeting at Berezino?

 

- Quite remarkable amount of weapons around... actually more than I can carry. Nice

 

- For whatever I do, I am unable to attach MP5 Rail Handguard   ra to my MP5K? I cannot even detach the original one. While the muzzle and the shoulder-piece work fine, this one won`t do... anyone else on These probs or did they implement the regular MP 5 yet and I am simply numb?

 

- Not ONE truck. I know they are rare, but after passing about 20 spawnpoints without seeing one, I find that VERY rare :)

 

- Lots of levitating haybales and some strange gaps and levitations on the railroads...

 

Well... let`s see where this leads :)

Hand guards are broken currently even if you use a workaround with painting to get them on you cannot attach anything anyway.

 

The truck spawns are not rotating and always at the same 15 or whatever places until taken, three I know are Msta, Severograd quarry, and Karmanovka lumber mill.

 

Seen lots of map assets creeping as well notably the bow of the wrecked ship has sunk and you can drop down to the very front section but cant get out alive.

I'm in Novo at the moment and can't find jack shit in the way of loot.  Damn looters, stealing all my loot.

Infected are in (6-9) around novo up north. They were removed due to the AI eating up way more server resources than they should. Will be back once bug is squashed.

Railguard and trucks was answered for ya.

The levitaiting environment elements isn't a big deal. Its just that the map devs have to go in and clean up some areas later. Fairly common in alpha test and even closed betas. They'll get to it or ask us later to report things like this with map coordinates. :)

We need higher definition map coordinates.  There are a lot of errors currently.

I'm sure they'll want screen shots to go along with the map coords or have their own coordinate system for us to use. There are a lot of errors currently I agree. Some of the funnier ones (like a floating wrecked bus) I've been taking screenies of as I explore.
