Apollo'sFire 31 Posted August 26, 2015 Love the crossbow, but I don't love having to decide between either a gun or crossbow. I'd like to have the option to:1. Breakdown the crossbow like the trumpet so that I can fit it in my bag.2. Be able to carry 2 weapons or 2 melee on my back.3. Fashion a piece of rope to attach crossbow to the outside of my bag.The first 2 options are feasible in my eyes, I know I'm not the only one who feels this way, I'd love to feel secure by having a gun I can use but also feel like I can be stealthy by using a crossbow if need be. With .58 live I can finally begin to hoard crossbow bolts so I can at least become more proficient with the crossbow.
hekeetsu 86 Posted August 26, 2015 Just take a crossbow and an SMG or a pistol?
Apollo'sFire 31 Posted August 26, 2015 Simply put, I don't really like the SMGs due to the high recoil and inaccuracy and going up against somebody in PVP, a pistol isn't my first choice. A crossbow I want to use as a secondary for when I don't need a rifle, even a suppressed gun pulls aggro and can still be heard by players.
Apollo'sFire 31 Posted August 26, 2015 Making a crossbow like an SMG to where I can place it in my bag will suffice, doesn't need to be broken down.
pale1776 375 Posted August 26, 2015 I think bows should take up the tool slot imo
-Gews- 7443 Posted August 26, 2015 It doesn't matter if it's partly disassembled, it will still take up the same space as a rifle. Both the limbs and stock are around 3 feet long. Archery equipment shouldn't have special permission to ignore its physical dimensions, so option 2 is the only acceptable one. Crossbow compared with M4A1, top view
atempleton 123 Posted August 26, 2015 You could always carry the Crossbow and a Longhorn if you need an accurate firearm. You can also interchange their scopes.
Apollo'sFire 31 Posted August 27, 2015 (edited) Gews thanks for the info, I would like option 2 because I can still fit an axe in my backpack Edited August 27, 2015 by Apollo'sFire

Dammit gews there's nothing about guns you aren't on top of... But yea I would like it if the crossbow was able to be placed in a backpack like an smg , maybe we can add a little handheld crossbow to fit better ?
