Thinking about heading West...

I notice there's almost always activity / PvP action in the eastern half of Chenaurus. But, is it worthwhile to head over to the western half of the map for activity? I'm not looking for PvP as much as something new to do. Thoughts? Ideas?

This video was posted in the gallery section (not my video, but it is inline with my stance). I think there's a reason to explore the world and learn what the game currently has to offer outside of glitchy pvp experiences.

Is there any loot that shows up more in the west? Or is loot pretty much spread all over? Just wondering if there's anything different to explore in the west.

There's always some interesting place to visit. Like Green Mountain. Or the military base between Kabanino and Vybor.

As you'll see in the thread there is a difference of opinions as to its message and value but the bottom line is it does demonstrate that life in the land to the west isn't necessarily barren and void of interaction. There is some civility yet caution is always necessary since not "everyone" is ALWAYS friendly. 

 

Regarding the original question from the OP about "is there more loot" etc- I don't recommend you sit here and ask people to spoonfeed you everything that makes the game what it is or isn't. You need to saddle up like the rest of us and go figure out what the game is to you.

VMB? I wouldn't regard that as the West. Or even the North. It's a PvP hotspot (not least given its proximity to a crashsite) that any serious lonewolf northerner will avoid like the plague.

 

Green Mountain may retain some of its mysticism, but nothing worthwhile spawns there. This is not an attempt at Mullraugh-like misdirection btw - it's really not worth it in this patch.

 

You're not in the north, or in the west unless Lopatino is well at your back.
