kiwi316 0 Posted July 2, 2015 So the other day I was playing Dayz with some friends and when I logged onto the server I started running and couldn't stop. I started mashing buttons and tabbing out and back in and couldn't stop running so I decided to restart my game. After doing this and logging back onto a server I was fine. However, this morning I got onto Dayz and I had the same problem, I tried doing everything again and even restarted my computer and nothing fixed it. Can anyone help me? klesh 2423 Posted July 2, 2015 Running: 1) As in character moving forward without any input? 2) As in, whenever you press W, you character is sprinting instead of jogging?

Chugg 0 Posted July 15, 2015 This happens to me also. Like sometimes when I am just running (not sprinting, just normal running) I wont be able to stop no matter how many buttons I mash. It will stop eventually but it's super annoying. Also I don't think it can be sticky keys because I just got a new keyboard.
BCBasher 2465 Posted July 15, 2015 I get it if I desync but pushing the direction key I'm stuck towards once and releasing it fixes. I get it If I swap hotbar items while moving as well same solution. If you shut down and restarted without fixing it I would open notepad and click to get a cursor and see it goes wwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwww. to rule out a faulty keyboard.
