Chain letters and pyramid schemes are similarly prohibited. This includes the Personal Message service and clan recruitment outside of the Clan Recruitment forum.On the one hand, community contributions in form of artwork or Youtube videos are welcomed by BI and even featured in their status reports. But on the other hand, what about contributions that aren't artwork or videos? Because I don't do artwork or video, I code. And I have a contribution to make, but explaining it or trying to get people involved in this "personal project" (although sourcecode would be freely available) could be considered as advertisement according to the rule above.
