..I tested the trap, but the servers went down unfortunately.

Yes it is working I have so far caught a rabbit in 2 out of 3 attempts. But seeing as I cant for the life of me find any other animals (even following Tatankos 0.57 hunting guide) I'm running around desperately looking for wire so I can be more self-sufficient.

It's tough out there in 0.57 :( Right now, I can roam the fields for several hours without seeing a single animal. They're very sparse.

 

Glad to see other people are having success with the rabbit snare. Mine have yet to yield any rabbits in 0.57... I've probably used up 5 or 6 snares by now (and they're re-usable at least once).

Got impatient not having found any animals in a while and decided to use up the tanned leather I had...this hat looks ridiculous...I should have saved up for those moccasins darnit!
