Fortismo 0 Posted June 17, 2015 I'm imagining belts of many different styles that you could find or an improvised belt you can create using tanned leather and a leather sewing kit. As long as you're wearing pants the belt could be attached to those pants. There could be 1-slot and/or 2x1-slot pouches you could find that would attach to the belt, to be used for a variety of needs. Perhaps improvised pouches could be made from tanned leather as well.Thoughts?

OnionOfShame 138 Posted June 17, 2015 Many other threads about this. That said, in my opinion things like this are very important for DayZ. It contributes to the realism aspect (you wound have am equipment belt in real life), and the aesthetic that I hope to someday see in-game.
St. Jimmy 1631 Posted October 9, 2015 Could something like this be considered at some point? You can have a rifle and big weapon free on your back but you can't have screwdriver, pen, handgun, knife etc. free on your belt on on your side. I think it doesn't need to be visual, only a side slot that's like the back slots except it can take only one small item.
MrAerospace 87 Posted October 11, 2015 Don't forget a canteen slot. Gotta have a better reason to lug those canteens around, other than personal preference over a PET bottle. Would be nice to attach one to your hip.
liquidcactus 719 Posted October 13, 2015 Storing is fun.. the plate carrier or the smersh vest is the first interesting cargo item(s) we can manipulate, hope we see more.. should we need belts as such ? probably not at first ? hmmm
Merc. 37 Posted October 14, 2015 We are talking about fanny packs here right? I think those would be good. But nothing like a 8 slot bat utility belt.
