are some bushes configured to give more/less berries?

Recommended Posts

most of the times I've tried picking berries as a new spawn, the bushes have just trolled me as I clicked and starved more.

'lol, no berries for you'

lol, no'

lol, no'

'you'll be dead in 3 minutes'

'lol, no'

lol, no'

lol, no'

'you'll be dead in 2 minutes'

'lol, no'

'lol, no'

lol, no'

'you'll be dead in 1 minutes'

but there's ONE bush near the coast that gave me berries more than half of the times I clicked on it, and I was so encouraged I kept clicking until I got up to energized.

was that a fluke, or are some bushes actually configured that way?

If I had to bet, I'd say fluke.

Sometimes I can get 3-4 apples in a row, Then not get any for 8-10 hits, sometimes I can get one every 2-4 hits, Seems to just vary from time to time and server to server..

The berry bushes and apple trees are random number generator based. I had an apple tree that was giving 4:5 consistently but that's not the norm. I have camps on my home servers 20 and 40 minutes jog from most spawns and have not died once from starvation, been close but not died. If a bush or tree is giving me shit 5 or so in a row I go to the next one and it gets better or go to the next.
