Heli crashes.

I have found 40+ heli crashes non mi-8. No m4's but tons of mags and every other weapon instead of the m4a1?

 

Is this normal?

You gotta be kidding, the M4 rarity is like 1/12 so you should have got like 3. Maybe the sites were looted?

I've actually found it easier in 0.54 to find M4s than attachments in good condition.

 

It is possible that you've just been very unlucky, or that people are just picking up the M4s and leaving other stuff.

No, mostly of the servers is per off and fresh/restarted. And has max 4 players.

Yes its normal all about luck when I found my first crash I got a grenade not an m4 even after I got my first heli gun it wasn't even and m4 it was an amphibia lol. I was finally lucky enough to get a m4 next to a SMERSH vest and a kahki m65 field jacket and I still have my m4 and SMERSH vest goes along great w my tsko outfit, sposin backpack, sword, and my silenced fnx. Apparently public server heli crashes spawn less loot than ones in private shards.

Hopped into a server today to find 6 heli crashes and a truck at almost every spawn. Even a glitched double heli spawn. Weird. Got a smersh, m4 and all that trash. Time to make a ghillie :]

Heli hunting isn't about the population of the server.

It is about two thiNgs

1. When did the server reset

2. Who found a truck first.

If you are on a server late into its reset timer or u have not found a truck recently then u are likely getting sloppy seconds

Yep. Normally servers reset around 08 or 09. Get a truck, rush to the spawns. Sometimes you get lucky sometimes you dont. A lot of heli crashes dont have much but some have a lot.

 

This was after one run through the heli spawns on a fresh server. Got a few optics(damaged) and found an AUG as well. The MI-8 Helis i went through(3 counting the glitched one) didnt have much on them. Found two trucks glitched together too, as i went to get in one they flew into the sky lol.

I think this is a good place for this question - so Hueys always smoke regardless of how long they are on the server and Mi-8s don't ever?
