Peep holes or a sliding view slot on them to view other side for security reasons. Sort of like the old school club's or private poker party's that used these.

That is a pretty good idea, especially when barricading and base building comes into play.  I don't think all doors would have peepholes in chenarus (apartments would be the most likely) and some businesses.  If we could install peepholes or make view slots that would be pretty cool for barricading.  You could hold up in an apartment building on the top floor and have your 'trading post' up there.  Tell people they need to have their guns down and hands up before you'll open the door for them.

Perhaps they could make it so that you could use certain items or tools to create slots in doors for that purpose; maybe if they ever add some sort of drill or something.

i forgot to mention make it so the sliding action is only obtainable from the interior as well, and also maybe a knock action/option to deal with doors as well....

Pretty nice ideas.. I'm really interested to know how the hell barricading and the likes will work out. A peep hole on the door would be great
