first experience with a trumpet

Picked up a trumpet last night and a box of .22 shells. Carried it around for a few hours till i get to the outskirts of a town. Saw a lone walker coming towards me, readied up and fired. Shot him 9 times (2 misses) and he never even slowed down. I started shooting at 25 yards so i know i was within range. Had to punch him a few times to finish him off(somehow lost my melee weapon after i hit g[wtf does g do]). Has anyone else had any experiences with the trumpet?

sounds about right - go for head shots. the "g" key is default for throw.

6 shots killed a military zombie for me. Threw that thing away and went strictly derringer for a while.
