Hi, I was using the crossbow today and I noticed I cant pick up my bolts after I use them, is this a glitch? If not it defeats the purpose of using one kind of.

Recovering bolts and arrows hasn't been implemented yet, it'll happen eventually.

Actually i've been able to retrieve arrow i've shot from bow, not sure about crossbow tho

Not sure if it works when u try get back the arrow from a corpse but i made some shooting practice and i wasable to retrieve them, some were glitched tho and cannot be retrieved

It's like that. Doesn't work from a corpse, at least not for me, but usually you can get it off the wall (by pointing at it) or from the ground (also through through inventory screen).

You can retrieve arrows from bows, if they did not penetrate a player or NPC.

 

But bolts, unfortunately are a one time use..

Where are you guys finding them? I have yet to find a xbow, lots of bolts and arrows tho so im assuming the same places those spawn?

I found a Xbow but did not pick it up as I have no use for it
