therandomredstone 432 Posted January 29, 2015 I just wanted to give out a quick thanks for the people who run and keep order on these forums. There are plenty of places for people to help others, and contribute to the community of DayZ. But I believe that these forums are the easiest, simplest way to keep in touch with one another. I am glad to be contributing to the development of this game. And when I see its million dollar trailers on tv, I will know that I helped with that. Now with that being said, share some recent experiences!
odin_lowe 3686 Posted January 29, 2015 (edited) Got killed in the woods. Encountered a medic in training called Jenny, and spared some supplies to contribute. Went fishing in the night with a camp fire lit close by. Peaceful and quiet. It wasn't the apocalypse for a brief moment. Found V3S and jerry can right next to each other. Traveled to another dimension with said V3S (Vehicle wanted to see what was under the map... ), and miraculously survived. Would go for seconds. Seriously been having a pretty good time in 0.52. Found multiple vehicles, and tested them a lot without having much problems. No crashes or anything of the sort. Looking forward to the next step DayZ takes! Never stopped playing since Dec18th 2013, and I have to say that I'm pretty happy with the evolution of DayZ. Great community, great devs, good times. B) Edited January 29, 2015 by Odin Lowe
Death By Crowbar 1213 Posted January 30, 2015 Speaking of the thank you to the admins/mods/devs/etc who frequent the forums - here's a good litmus test, in one of the threads a newer member was stirring up trouble, I go to that user's profile and I see this: These forums have lots of mods who spend a lot of time reviewing posts, trying to help, keeping order, checking profiles, removing spam, dispelling myths, etc. It's run pretty well imo. On another note if any poster goes to their profile and sees their latest visitors list looks something like this you're likely headed for trouble and a timeout, LOL!
OrLoK 16185 Posted January 30, 2015 (edited) Hello thereWe regularly do random checks and also peek at new users, so dont worry if you see lots of us looking at your profiles......as long as you've done nothing wrong that is...My fellow mods and I are on the forums 24/7 (excellent timezone planning) and we do try our best to keep order *and* have a relaxed atmosphere for all. There's a lot one can get away with in these forums compared to some of our more mil-sim cousins, shall we say.Lastly my fellow mods asked me specifically to let you all know that no matter what they say in future that they will not accept any donations for their hard work.I however will. (Large denominations only, please)RgdsLoK Edited January 30, 2015 by orlok edited for clarity and to avoid jihad.

(Large denominations only, please)Is tactical bacon a larger denomination than beans? Hicks/Eugen and team haven't implemented currency nor have I seen that on the roadmap. I also have some cooked deer meat and can neither confirm nor deny that I have raw human steaks.
