FrostDMG 398 Posted July 1, 2012 Alright guys, after some good old trial and error (or basically being killed) I have come up with this route to the NWAF. It is not only the fastest way to NWAF from the coast, but at the same time I can almost guarantee you that by the time you reach the airfield, you should have an ALICE backpack, 1911/Revoler and an Enfield or Shotgun/CZ550.Purple square marks this red brick building -1. Starting outIf you happen to die, you want to keep re-spawning until you spawn at Kamenka (you can see the name of the location where you've just spawned by looking at the white letters which will show up for a couple of seconds after spawning in the bottom right hand corner of the screen - the 2nd line down). There are 3 spawns that I know of in Kamenka - marked with blue circles. If you spawn at the East-most spawn, you want to ignore the town and leg it to the first Deer Stand. If you've spawned in the middle - you should see a town - you should run for the red bricked building marked on the map with a purple square. If you've aggro'd any Zeds, make sure you make haste as you gather supplies in the house and then crouch run out the other door - zombies aggro will reset if you Line Of Sight them. After gathering supplies you can head straight for the nearest Deer Stand. You shouldn't have any issues with looting the first 3 Deer Stands, assuming you don't aggro any Zeds of course! After the 3rd Deer Stand, you should make your way East of Pavlovo - skip that town as there is nothing of value there and you will save a load of time. Run to the next Deer Stand - it's at an edge of the forest, it should be easily visible. 2. Raiding ZelenogorskAfter raiding the Deer Stand you need to make your way North-East through the forest - you might want to loot the barn for a Hatchet or a CZ550. You should see the supermarket from quite afar - it's a grey square building. If you're running low on water/food you should find everything you need in there - luck willing, you will find a pistol and and ALICE pack too! After exiting the supermarket via the back door, you want to make your way to the red building marked on the map, loot that and RUN to the barn. Yes FULL SPRINT. This will save you TONS of time and you do not need to worry about aggro! You need to run towards the church and past it, following the road North - skip the gas station, I have accidentally marked it but you do not need to go there. Assuming you're fully sprinting with a good sized horde behind you, make your way to the very long barn - it's the one with big double doors at each side. make haste looting it, making sure all aggro'd Zeds are inside slowed down, then you should make your way to the second barn just North-East of the barn you're in. Don't run as you might attract unnecessary attention of the Zeds near that barn and losing them may be a bit more tricky. After looting the barn and making sure you're far away from any potential threat, fully sprint past Sosnovka. You should stick to the left side of the road when you reach the top of that small hill, however stay away from the gas station!3. Pustoshka & VyborAlright, you've made it to the last two towns before the NWAF! Upon entering Pustoshka you can pretty much leg it to the church - you can actually get into this one - and loot it for any supplies. Remember the zombies will slow down inside and you can aggro them towards the lecture stand in the back of the church, then simply running past them and going back to stealth after de-aggroing. Your next target is the supermarket, you should enter it via the back doors and exit via the front - you should see the next red bricked building through the windows of the supermarket. Raid the red bricked building and then move out of town towards your last stop - Vybor. If you didn't aggro anything and you have a water bottle, you can re-fill it at the pond just West of the bridge, if you have however aggro'd something, then just run for the barn with blue doors and force the zombies to follow you in, then exit out the other end, LOSing them and proceed to move into the red bricked building marked. You may be tempted to loot the high-yield building (grey offices) - however I would advice agaist it, as there is a greater chance of bumping into someone. Loot the supermarket (via the back - don't actually go into the front of the supermarket unless you absolutely have to - it's a deathtrap - and then loot the two red bricked buildings. You're ALMOST there!4. Who dares winsAlright... The good news is you've made it this far... The bad news is... Well, you're about to go into the freefire zone of death knows as the NWAF. After exiting Vybor you should make your way to the barn just North-East of the town. This is your very last stop. Make super you have some ammo for your guns, you're fully fed and have max blood. Exit the barn via the Northern exit and make a run for the treeline - DO NOT RUN IN THE OPEN FIELD LIKE A TOTAL NOOB USE THE MARKED SHRUB-LINE FOR COVER!!! Upon entering the woods go prone, and SLOWLY make your way to the barracks - it's the long, rectangular one story building with windows running down the long side and only one door - the door has a small window in it. Now that you've identified your target, sit under a fir tree for a couple of minutes, completely still, and just listen for ANY movement and pray that someone isn't watching barracks with you. Once you've established there are no enemies in sight and that the Zeds are a fair distance away, you should make a move. Either crawl or crouch run, to be honest it is better to get there fast but it just depends on the number of Zeds. Once inside, check the rooms quickly and GET THE HELL OUT! If you see anyone, kill them before they kill you. I will guarantee you that you will not make any friends at the airfield. It's kill or be killed. Once you are ready to exit, move towards the door and make a break for the Northern face of the building - that way you are covered by the barracks so that anyone waiting for you in the woods will have to move in order to see you. From then on it's up to you... I cannot assist you any further, however I would like to say that looting the hangars in INCREDIBLY dangerous. Hope this guide helped you guys.Oh by the way, from start to finish it should take you around an hour to get to the barracks. Happy running!

FrostDMG 398 Posted July 1, 2012 I would avoid supermarkets.I haven't been killed once in a supermarket yet... Also, you NEED to stock up on food and water, unless you have those plus a gun with some ammo, then yeah I guess you could skip them, but I still wouldn't
core.- 28 Posted July 1, 2012 For new players I would avoid supermarkets they have the covetted matchbox item and tents.. but beyond that, if you dont need those items, IGNORE IT.

ZogVarnoka 26 Posted July 1, 2012 Zeleno supermarket tended to be camped 50% of the time I visited it. Make sure to scout the area for a bit before moving in on the store due to all the open territory between you and it. The other stores though I haven't had a problem with in the past. The one in Vybor isn't bad if you make sure to scout the school/office before hand. The destinations on the route you give are excellent and I do something similar myself when respawning. The route itself though needs to be more in the woods. There is a lot of open ground has to be covered on the route you have given. But overall a good guide. Thanks for writing it up and taking the time with the maps. I'm sure it will help plenty of new players :)

Also, I used straight lines just as an indicator you know, so when you're actually playing you should decide whether you're gonna go into the woods or go the quick way. It's just a general pointer :)

How sad do you have to be to camp a market in the middle of nowhere? I mean seriously, snipers and DCers aside, this is a whole new level...
Hetstaine 10852 Posted July 1, 2012 If you sit back and watch the supermarkets you can normally pick off the campers/ farmers ;) If there are two or three of you it is especially easy to take them out, we do not enter the Zeleno or any other shops without someone covering from a higher location. Nothing better than looting a camper :)
devildoggamer 29 Posted July 2, 2012 Best way head west to edge of map follow until you reach north side of airfield and start looting your safe until airfield
