Even googled a bit, no luck. Its just we had 3 pristine compasses and they were all facing a different way. We even double checked by checking eachothers screen. Compasses, including pristine ones, sometimes go into reverse. It's a bug. Log out and back in to cure. Or that's what I was told a few months ago and it worked. Other than this, they work fine. Those which are not pristine will give readings 10-40 degrees from true. So find a road whose direction you know from the map, work out what that difference is, and then all you need is some quick mental arithmetic to read your damaged compass.
