Tag & Release - Disarming a sniper and trying to negotiate his release

A heavily armed sniper was caught in Zelengorsk. Turns out he is part of the =UN= Clan and has friends in the area. I proceed to negotiate his release with him and his crew, but the negotiations end with a bang.

You really just made my day. I once wandered onto the NWAF and found a kid, no more than fourteen, who'd been handcuffed and beaten senseless by these guys. Any foe of the UN is a friend of mine.

I love these kind of encounters, interactions like this is what makes this game great.

The guy you took hostage did nothing wrong in my opinion (although don't know what he was saying in teamspeak).

It looks like his teammate just saw an opportunity to shoot you and acted impulsive.

They should have honored their word by letting you walk.

I personally believe the plan was devised by both players. He was speaking to his commanders of which I was later "private messaged" from my reliable sources that it was the guy who was across the street. The reason he probably as standing still, was because he expected an easy kill. 

 

Good thing their plans didn't go through. 

 

Once I was able to dodge all the gunshots, I knew I had to quickly remove the threats in the area. 

 

If I had back-up, I might hold him up again. But being a lone-wolf versus two clan members, I don't really a have a choice.

Think you did the right thing there man, made a deal with them and they won't even keep their word, i would've done the same - if they can't keep their word then they deserve to die!
