Realism

Stuff like crayz weapon sway, weapon delay behind crosshair, long animations for everything you do in game, strafing delay (Arma 3). Is it adding to the realism or is it completely opposite? I feel like its not only unrealistic, it also makes the game feel like a clunky mess. For example the eating animation, every time you eat your character puts his gun on his back. Is that realistic? Would you put your gun so far away if you knew that an enemy player is 20 meters away from you? What about weapon sway, would you drink vodka every time you go outside? I know that chernarus is close to Russia but come on, not everyone drinks vodka there. Stafing delay, its just awkward and makes me miss the doors whole the time. Am i the only guy who can't stand the game because of stuff like this? I would rather have the negative mouse acceleration from Arma 2 than this weird weapon delay mess in DayZ,

FUCK THAT! I want my unicorn bear zombies riding a motorcycle made out of teacups and human flesh as it shoots laser beams out of a gun made from a newspaper.

 

 I know that chernarus is close to Russia but come on, not everyone drinks vodka there.

If they just smooth out the animations it would add to the realism greatly. When they iron out the controls too it will be a joy to play.

Too bad the engine is outdated so much work is to be done.

if i knew that an enemy player was 20m away from me.. i wouldn't be eating or drinking. problem solved. No need to call mythbusters on this one.

Well, in my opinion the Dayz development is too slow since last year in january 2014 - we've the same glitches, slow animation, clunky..

I'm waiting for H1Z1 survival mmo in January 2015 with thousends of players on the same map.

And we won't have private crapy servers with less toatal amount of players compare to small BF4 maps.
