DayZ Resolution

So i have not played this game in a while. I had uninstalled it around 2 months ago.

 

But now i cannot get my resolution sorted (It worked fine the last time i played it, months ago)

 

1. Installed from steam (After uninstalling months ago)

2. Made sure the game was set to run with "High performance", switchable graphics.

3. When i run DayZ the resolution is insane. The mouse cursor almost takes up the whole screen !!!

 

This ONLY happens with DayZ after i reinstalled it this morning. All other games work fine

 

Has anyone else seen this. 

 

I have tried everything to sort this with no success. The resolution list within the game only allows me to select resolutions that no one would ever use.

Make sure you set your aspect ratio to whatever your monitor is in.

 

You then have a different set of resolutions to pick from, including 1080p and above.

Go to settings -> video settings -> User Interface. First set your aspect ratio ( this will load the correct resolutions in the dropdown menu ) and then your UI resolution. After that you can set your ingame resolution under video settings.

This will ALL  be sorted if you haven't fixed this issue already. When I first got dayz I had the same problem, this is what you have to do to fix it:

Go to documents in your computer.

Click on DayZ

Go to "DayZ.cfg"

Set "Render & Resolution W&H to 1920x1080 (or your preferred resolution)

Then it WILL be fixed.

This will ALL  be sorted if you haven't fixed this issue already. When I first got dayz I had the same problem, this is what you have to do to fix it:

Go to documents in your computer.

Click on DayZ

That depends on the resolution used, not everybody has 1920x1080.
