We exchanged fire, unfortunately I had no ammo. He waited for me to get back up and offered me friendship. True Hero. I love you man.

So, yesterday i met the greatest guy. He was cool, kind and did not care much about gear. He was just a nice guy. The way we became friends was amazing, watch it here:

It begs the question...Are there any friendlies left?

Something similar happened to me about a month ago on 0.50 Experimental: I was rummaging around Vavilovo and an Aussie fellow and I spooked each other. He shot me in the leg, but we quickly made peace and he even trusted me enough afterwards to give me bandages and some ammo for my Repeater :)

Unfortunately, like most of my friendly encounters in the last six months or so, he and I parted ways afterwards. There's an uneasiness that lingers after these sorts of events, even if you were willing to help each other out. That makes it difficult to continue travelling together even if you don't immediately kill one another.
