Ah, I see. THIS makes sense. Too bad...I guess there really isn't any point in setting up a well established base camp for the time being. I can still use my spot (it is ULTRA fukin sneaky. I would be legitimately VERY surprised if anyone found it. And its not even something dumb like "all the way to the edge of the map in the trees" either. It is very conveniently located) to store a pack with a few back up supplies, but building a full on HOME is just not worth the effort. Oh well. ill just have to wait till they fix it I guess. probably be waiting just a long as it takes for them to fix the terrible that is the current melee system...

I am. Last night I was between 100-120, but I was alone and did not see any other players. I was looking through buildings in the big town up north (Novo I believe) and I had two crashes to desktop in about 20 minutes. That has not happened before. After second time, it was time for bed. I did have a graphic card update, but I don't think the driver was changed at all. That mostly around the software that came along with it (all the geforce stuff).

 

Servers are down this morning. Was going to move my guy back into the woods!

Frequent crashes both server & client side are a known issue with this current build, so it's not only you.

I think you guys may have just killed me. Since there's prob gonna be an exp update today, I decided to log into stable and go out with a bang. The second I log in, there's two geared players right in front of me and I immediately took a panic shot (Wasn't very well hidden so I figured I was dead either way). Seconds later I'm floored haha...shortest session ever.

Hey Ump, thanks for using our server.

 

Would you happen to be located in Eastern America? I'm from the East Coast myself, & our server is located in Western America, so my ping is ballpark range with yours.

 

I seem to bounce between 80 & 100.

Haha I ran into her (him) earlier in the day when the server was fairly unpopulated. Approached one of those round barracks buildings at NWAF with my SKS drawn only to find Trisha standing inside apparently going through his inventory. No shots were fired and we ended up teaming up for a bit and taking my V3S to Veresnik MB. For some reason the name didn't register till after we parted ways.

Sidenote: Are radios working on this build?

Was this up above Zelenogorsk on the edge of the trees?  If it was after I killed you a guy hit me once with a Mosin but I was unable to find him.

Yup. I logged in right where you saw me (bad spot due to a server crash last night) and popped a mosin round off right before dying. Did you hear my shot or only one after you popped me?

I heard your shot, spun around and saw you, took some shots then you started running and I finished you off.  Your body started sliding down the hill so I was following it and that's when I got hit and heard a 2nd shot. 

 

Was there someone there with you we couldn't find?  There were only 2 rounds in your Mosin when I picked it up.  I'm pretty sure I've got the video of this so I'll post it up if I do.  :)

Ahh gotcha. I wasn't sure if I was actually running or just lagging post-death because on my screen you guys weren't actually looking at me. 

 

Nope, I didn't have any buddies or anything with me. Haha ok, wouldn't mind watching my embarrassing death from the other end.  :D

I am unable to join as well. It just says "Waiting for host". But I can see that at least 19 people are still in the server.

 

Figures. the only day I get to have off this weak too.

We recieved this message from Vilayer this morning:

 

"Due to the update not getting released yesterday, it will be pushed out today instead.  We will be taking the servers down at 1pm GMT and then updating them and putting them online later this afternoon.

 

If you have persistence enabled (we do) please try to pick up as much loot as you can from and storage you have as we are wiping persistence and backups from all servers for the update.

 

Sorry for the short notice, servers should come back online updated and working later this evening, any problems please contact support."

 

If you have anything on the ground and want to keep it you better get it picked up.
