jayleann 143 Posted October 11, 2014 I found a rangefinder in experimental, but there are no numbers or signs. How is it used correctly?

SNPxASSASSIN 6 Posted October 11, 2014 The rangefinder, while currently broken, would work by sending some kind of a sensor out towards the pointed object to return a number, I think it may be broken due to something in the model itself blocking the laser-type sensor from getting anywhere or as you mentioned no variables are appearing, i'm sure it's a HUD problem of some kind. This might be fixed soon though.

shinjuru 114 Posted October 12, 2014 I found one in Kamyshovo. Placed a new Battery in it. It was not functional. Like Hasi said, it's currently bugged.

The time it takes for the light to reach the target and back to the rangefinder allows you to calculate distance as we know the speed of light and time. distance=speed/time
umm_me 77 Posted October 13, 2014 Put the range finder on top of a stack of papers.... the papers will not blow away.
