fragbastard 4 Posted October 10, 2014 (edited) Hi, 2 Days ago I had a little fight with some zombies and after that my leg hurts. About 10 min later my graphics/visueal became blurry(not so sharp). It's like my eyes needs glasses of -4. Me and my companion thought it might came because my leg was hurting. So we went on a journey for medicine etc.. I've used morfine, anti biotica, some needle stuff. 1 hour later the message(my leg hurts) disappeared. I ate/drink enough. I'm energized and hydrated(green). Now about 6 gaming hours and 2 days further it's still not fix. We've changed about 3/4 servers in the last 2 days.. I think this is all the info I got for this. Anyone know if it's a bug or really something to fix with loot??? Please help me, cause It's feels like I am blind and my partner is my guide dog.. Here are some screenshot. http://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=324621334http://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=324621340http://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=324621345 Video settings:http://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=324624000http://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=324624009http://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=324624017http://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=324624031 Edited October 10, 2014 by fragbastard
CANUCKinNZ 108 Posted October 10, 2014 Oh that's weird. If you tried morphine or a splint and are hydrated and healthy you should be okay. Has your status said healing? It takes a while even after you are sweet so maybe you nee to wait to start healing. Can you post a screenshot of your view?

doctorbadsign 645 Posted October 10, 2014 I think the blurriness is unrelated to blood, its related to health, is it not? Have you got your char to healthy status?
Re-Patch 47 Posted October 10, 2014 (edited) go to video settings - rendering - turn off "ambient occlusion" and maybe post process quality (forgot exactly which one it was), this will probably fix it. If this didn't help --> (we had the same problem before), just press ESC, go to Video Settings, ESC again, back to the game, should be good again. We had the same blurry screens and all we needed to do was the above. Hope it works.Oh and yeah, it's the Post Process Quality you should disable. One of these things should work. Edited October 10, 2014 by re-patch

BeaverProductions 441 Posted October 10, 2014 Make sure your hydrated and energised icons are bright green. If they are, you should either see "Healing" or "Healthy" below them.

Odin1194 0 Posted October 10, 2014 (edited) Hey fellow Survivor, black/white screen means you are low on blood,a blurry screens means you are low on health.to restore health you need to be full on blood, energized and hydrated. i would not disable the post processing, because it is the only way of knowing your health status. please refer to following youtube link for furter information regarding blood/health regeneration: Edited October 10, 2014 by Odin1194
BeaverProductions 441 Posted October 10, 2014 ok thx, didn't knew that. I'm new to this game :P So i can eat and drink a lot more!? Yeah you can eat and drink until it says you are full/stuffed. I recommend always having the "Healthy" icon on you at all times as if you get shot and go unconscious, you can be regenerating when you are out cold.
Khanarac 252 Posted October 10, 2014 Postprocessing, its postprocessing effects, turn that off.
fragbastard 4 Posted October 10, 2014 But like odin said, now I won't see any healty effects anymore... But does the blurry graphics mean something is wrong with my health? Or is it a graphic bug? Now I'm getting confused :P

I have no idea why, but for some reason once you click "video" (which doesn't change anything, it just opens the other options normally) it will magically fix it simply by clicking on it. Its strange, but it has worked for me pretty much everytime.
guppy22143 1081 Posted October 10, 2014 This isn't a glitch, and it's life threatening to treat it as such.Screen blurring directly correlates to health. If you are shot, you need to heal. If you just get rid of the blurring, you won't know how easy it is to kill you.
alascer 21 Posted October 10, 2014 it's a glitch atm in SA, goto video settings, press the button that says "video settings", that's it..happens ALL THE time to me, like at least once every hour.. health blurry would make your colour fade, which in your shots, it has not.

Low blood = colour fade Low health = blurry To be clear, the bug is that the blurriness goes away when you click on video settings. It should be blurry it means your health is low. doctorbadsign 645 Posted October 11, 2014 should be yes, BUT, color will fade as well regardless. There are instances in which the colour remains to a degree, but the screen stays blurry. As evidenced by the OP. As Guppy said, treating it as though it were a bug might get you killed. Achieve healthy status if your screen goes blurry. Whether or not you use the bug to get rid of it is up to you, but if you get a blurry screen eat and drink up until you get healthy again.
