Within 2 minutes I was shot dead. Is this likely to be an admin, punishing me for jumping on an empty server in a high loot area? It wasn't one of the popular military areas either.Its because server hopping is one of the most risky things to EVER do in dayz, because other server hoppers aim for low pop servers. Nice dog pick though....very hipster If you read what I said there are other reasons why it is not a good option. Like for example you greatly increase your chances of running into other players, wait times and the like. So when I wrote what I wrote I did posts there is quite a few cons of doing it. Infact I do not do it much of the time because it simply not ideal. Do I believe it it is expliot, not really though. They really have put things inplace like timers anyways. It wasn't one of the popular military areas either.It is bad form and it is just as or even more likely to have been another hopper rather than an admin. One great thing about Private Hives is none of this hopping nonsense. It can't be done since the privates are not connected to a central d-base, every private hive is a different character and all start as freshies.. As a result I only play on private servers now.
