escobert 112 Posted September 30, 2014 Just hold the object you want to open with (IE can opener/axe/screwdriver) and then right click on the can you want to open.
corn_ho_lio 2 Posted September 30, 2014 You can drag them either way, as long as the box turns orange when you release the mouse there will be an option to open the can with the whatever you are using :)it must have been a badly damaged screwdriver then.. ill try it out tonight

Whyherro123 2283 Posted September 30, 2014 Why would every single source of water need to be purified? I'd have to think it'd be like the mod and you can just boil the water rather than spend all day running around cities looking for tablets.IN real life, you NEVER want to drink straight from a water source, regardless of how clear it looks. Ever had Giardia? Boiling takes too long, and IMO, is a waste of resources. I carry a microfilter for all of my wilderness water needs, and a bottle of treatment tabs for backup. Whyherro123 2283 Posted September 30, 2014 But this isn't real life :PDon't be a putz. Take a look at the overwhelming majority of the water bodies in Chernarus. They are literally green with algae buildup, with either means there is a lot of nutrient runoff (probably from agricultural fertilizers) or the ponds/rivers are full of rotting vegetation. You don't want to drink that straight.
solodude23 649 Posted September 30, 2014 (edited) But this isn't real life :PIn the future, ponds and perhaps even wells will have the possibility of being contaminated - so be ready. ;) You should never drink stagnant water in real life and once shit hits the fan even wells might not be safe. Cold water, especially when moving, will likely not have any virus - but it sure as hell can have harmful bacteria. You don't want to drink that straight.I've never had my character drink from anything that wasn't a well or bottle just because I know in the future I wont be drinking out of ponds so why bother now. It's really not hard to stay hydrated with just wells and canteens. And I own lifestraws and a small filter system irl. Also at least in the mod boiling water takes about 30 seconds so it's really not a time constraint. Gather some meat and water bottles and do it all in one sitting. TwinSpire 49 Posted September 30, 2014 ... Cold water, especially when moving, will likely not have any virus - but it sure as hell can have harmful bacteria. We totally need diarrhea... Could even use the bleeding animation but make it brown. Would be hilarious to hold someone up, then they fart and start to shit themselves. hmmm I wonder would having diarrhea in your pants ruin all the gear in your pants?
