no way the game is going to be done early 2015.. creating and finishing a game like this will cost years of effort..

so i could take a crap on my victims ;)

last night i was looting the area of elektro, decent clothing, an ax, lots of food and drinks etc.. when i got chased by 2 zombieschnitzels. when i killed the last of those 2 zombopoopers a guy appeared in front of me pointing a gun at me asking: friendly? me: yes, let me put my ax away. so i did, knowing i didnt really have a chance against a "loaded?" shotgun... as i am putting away my weapon, a next guy appears also pointing one at me.. (at this point i already crapped my pants) no im not a crybaby but comeon.. 2 guns pointed at me. guy: surrender or we will shoot you. me: alright so i wanted to surrender myself but i accidentally middle forking fingered them. they instantly started talking spanish i believe, 3rd guy showed up and unloaded his mag into my face. my day was alright cheers

i once sat on a roof located at solnichniy (east coastal town) looking for nearby people, when i saw a cow running for her life being chased by 4 zombies..

alright, i did the opposite. i took the screwdriver and drove it over a can.. it didnt do nothing. no wonder.. thanks for helping me out here. im pretty sure this will keep me going ;)

thanks for the replies guys, it sounds pretty obvious opening a can with ANY sharp tool or weapon should work fine.. last night i tried opening one with a wrench and a screwdriver.. both didnt work. ill experiment with some tonight when in game again. i almost gave up the hope on the food part. thanks again

i am a new player (40 hours) and understanding most of the basics of the game. now i am pretty frustrated by the fact that 9 out of 10 times i die of starvation. mostly when i spawn i try to go south aiming for chernogorsk. on my way i loot houses and other buildings and try to gather asmuch as possible foods and drinks and ofcourse trying to find a decent weapon (mostly just the fire axe). as i am stacking up lots of canned food i cant seem to find a can opener. so the canned food are pretty much a waste of slots in my backpack.. or isnt it? is there any other way to open those damn things and get myself a full tummy again? or are there any specific spots where to find a can opener? or lots of fruit? i am loving the game and i understand it is just early access so far, but this just frustrates me as i dont seem to find any threats of other people who have this same issue. can someone please help me? maybe its time for me to join a clan.. just an idea ;)

I do have the exact same issue. also i noticed the more stuff you wear and gathered, the more laggy it becomes. restarting my computer sometimes does help. This should be priority no.1 fixing the most important parts of the map..
