I got that kind of thing with my PU scope on my SKS. Some bug made it so I was looking through my hands, not the scope when I raised it. I think it might have something to do with if you have a rifle on your back and one in your hand but not sure.

Yeah the Red dot 68 optics work fine with the mp5, the other red dot seems to not work correctly in my testing. Still waiting for Bohemia to notice that the MP5k Spawns without a Buttstock now which really makes the gun look silly when scoped.

Nope dont think its buggin. You can attach different "scopes" to MP5 and that BUIS isnt really compatible with it, like you can see in the picture, it looks funny.

How does the stock have function when its removed entirely from the spawn table. The Mp5 Like the M4,AKM,AK101 spawn with a Hand guard and a stock. The stock does not spawn separate from the gun ergo no functionality whatsoever...

Just "farm" police stations, you'll find one & a mag eventually. 

On that though, I've never found a buttstock for it. Then again, I like it as a "short" weapon, seeing as its concealed in the vest and so on.

Quite deadly aswell, with its high rate of fire and relative accuracy, I advise carrying it together with a Mosin.

I haven't seen an mp5 since they released it to stable awhile ago, I've found a few 15 round magazines for it but I traded them away for a pristine LRS and a worn protector case. I haven't seen them with buttstocks since they were first introduced to experimental so I assumed they had removed that attachment from the loot table

We had a PM73 RAK before the wipe, akshully. One of us was walking around and found it in the static heli between Svetlo and Berezino. It was triggered by a loot spawn.

 

We never found the mag for it, though. 

 

P.S MP5K spawning without stock is intentional because the "K" designation is for a short version of the firearm.

I wasn't aware that it wasn't spawning AT ALL.

 

It's probably a bug, then. However, the stock's function in spawning separately is that it does (or should) reduce your recoil and improve stability, so I can stand by the fact if removing it from spawning on the GUN was intentional.

It spawned pre-.49 in the police station as a separate attachment. 

 

I haven't seen the stock yet, but it's fairly inconsequential for the gun's effective range anyways. The stock improves accuracy by around 1 MOA.

@OP, you probably shouldn't put sights meant for an M4 on an MP5k.

Never had a problem with any of those. Only the occasional upper story floor would eat me. But it's been months.

Had one prewhipe.....found 3!!! mags in a policsstation. Found the gun at the policecar in Novo right besides the townhall. Died 10 minutes later.

I dont follow the logic behind people saying the Buttstock shouldent spawn with the gun, The same goes for any other gun in the game that has *main* attachments And the "K" part of the gun name indeed does not have to do with the gun being stockless.

 

Now I Love a challenge finding something, but even if they remove the attachment from the gun as when it spawns, then it should at the very least spawn as an additional attachment, in the police station.

 

For now it's simply not in the game and thats the part i find incomprehensible unless there was good reasoning behind it that was never made public. Or myabe it was just a mistake becauise it;'s been like this for maybe 1 in a half months, every since 0.49 was on Exp it's been gone, and even in parts of 0.48 EXP was also removed
