Gagged? Easily the most harrowing experience i've ever had in DayZ.

Anyone have a clue what happened to me to disable direct communication in the vid? I was under the impression that gags and stuff weren't in the game, but I my direct communication stopped working altogether after being 'fed' (whatever that was??) and seemingly resumed once I broke the restraints. Super weird, surely it can't just have been incredibly coincidental timing for a bug? I was bricking it!

Hats off to the bandits though, for being so well coordinated. I had no idea that a guy came from behind to cuff me until I watched it back. And a double hat off to our mysterious wanna-be hero of the night too, as i'm sure he meant well.

 

This was a truly harrowing experience. Fucking brilliant, but harrowing.

I would have to say he fed you alcohol tincture hence the funny taste but I have no idea why you would loose your comms. That was a rather high level of duchebaggery as well.

Someone suggested perhaps I went unconscious briefly when he shot me in the leg but a bug caused the screen not to fade to black, hence the lack of direct communication.

Has that ever happened to anyone?
