Advice?

Got a broken leg at the bottom of an old cargo ship...can't crawl up the stairs, can't climb up the ramp-like part of the ship. I had just respawned and have no gear. Is there any way I can die and respawn? How long will it take to die of hunger/thirst/broken leg?

Do you have a shirt on or a bamdage? There are woods just outside the ship. Crawl and search for kindling on the forest floor and it shouldn't take long to find sticks. Add sticks to a tshirt to craft the splint. Or you could just go AFK until you die. Option C is relog on a high pop server, yell at the top of your lungs in your mic. Someone traveling in between Svetlo and Berezino might hear you. Good luck :)

Maybe someone on here will come kill you if you ask them. I would help you but my back is wrecked right now so I can't deal with sitting down for long.

My best advice would be to request a medic, & crawl back to Berezino in the meantime where you can either fix your leg or suicide if help hasn't come by then.

Try going up the stairs backwards, or crouching at the foot of them and going forward etc.  If you can manage to get onto the stairs you can often walk up them, even with a broken leg.  Also, try rolling up the ramp.

 

They should really put vaulting with broken legs back in for stuff like that.

I would crawl back if I could, unfortunately it would not allow me to go up the steps while crawling. I left the game up and left for work so I'm hoping I die by the time I get home.

Well I managed to die and respawn. Played for a few more hours and logged out for the night. Logged back in today and now I am under the building :(  again I seem to find myself stuck...Tried to log in on multiple servers, I can see through the sides of the building but cannot exit. Is this something that will fix itself when the server updates? Or am I basically screwed?

The best option I can think of:

 

Tell someone your server and location and have them log in and kill the toon (or bandage you up, but if they fresh spawn that may not be the best time sensitive option.)

Keep walking around in the building and trying to go through different parts of the wall, try crouching, try going prone and crawling - I've had this happen several times and have always managed to get out eventually.

I've found myself glitched in houses before, rule of thumb - never log out in a building - what I do/did is swap from walking, running, sprinting and trying to jump/vault. Basically just spam the shit out of anything you can. You should free yourself eventually. :)

Another player eventually came by, I got his attention and he searched the whole building for me, couldn't find me. I could see him, at one point it looked like he was standing on me. I guess I was actually under the building? Also tried to run and jump at the walls, tried crawling and crouching too. Going to keep trying to free myself but I'm close to starvation now so that will probably get me first.

depending what building you're stuck in the 'dungeon' of, there are different/several ways to get out.  Google youtube / these forums for ways out.  I usually target a specific section of the basement and try running + vaulting over it.  May be able to step out.  Others have suggested crouching/standing/changing weapon to/from back while standing at the boundary of the building and you should pop out.

 

Alternatively, there is a request function on these forums where you can ask a dev/member to teleport you out i believe (haven't used myself).  The dev will identify your situation and teleport you to a random part of the map (any server).  Have a browse through and check these guys. Sorry i didn't link but i'm lazy atm.

 

edit: can't find any information immediately in stickies RE getting teleported by staff, but i believe i've seen anecdotal evidence here before.  Maybe just ping a forum mod and see what the go is ;S

I'd try getting out of the building myself first. tho.
